DJ A1
DJ A1 embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of 15 in 1994, quickly establishing a passion for the art of DJing. By just 17, he secured his first residency at Cuba on Brighton seafront, where he ignited the crowd with his vibrant house music sets.
Growing up in a household immersed in the rave culture, A1 was frequently taken to iconic venues like Sterns in Worthing by his sister and her boyfriend, where he was introduced to the exhilarating world of both under and over 18's club nights. The pulse of the rave scene resonated deeply with him, leading him to 'borrow' his sister's rave tapes, which he would play on repeat, absorbing the sounds of legends like Slipmatt, DJ Sy, and Swan-e. Their distinct mixing styles fascinated him and inspired his own creativity behind the decks.
Early on, he learned the importance of versatility; he was advised never to confine himself to a single genre, a lesson that has shaped his eclectic musical approach. DJ A1 runs and plays the beloved oldskool night "Juice" in Brighton and has graced numerous prominent raves, including Fantazia, Dreamscape (Reunion), Raindance, Moondance, and the Sterns Reunion. His dedication and talent reached a pinnacle in 2023 when he had the incredible honor of warming up for the legendary Carl Cox at the Revival festival in Maidstone.
With a commitment to delivering unforgettable musical experiences and a love for diverse genres, DJ A1 continues to captivate audiences with his dynamic sets.
Although many dates for 2025 already booked up DJA1 is actively seeking new bookings for 2025.
